[clustervisor-announce] ClusterVisor 1.23.08-2736 Released

[ClusterVisor Announcements]

This is the last August release of ClusterVisor, which includes several bug
fixes along with the new features: ZFS stats plugin, SSH/HTTP(S) console
support via the web interface, the new "script widget" for the dashboard,
and auto-refresh added for pages in the web interface.

Release Notes:

   - Fixed edge case bugs in cloner network boot image
   - Switched behavior of firewall field in network settings to be false by
   default
   - Fixed edge case bug in startup of cv-statsd and cv-external-statsd
   daemon
   - Fixed bugs in migration package to support changes from the first
   August release
   - Fixed edge case bug in web interface for listing all stats assigned to
   devices when creating widgets
   - Fixed bugs in stat plugins "firmware" and "intelssd" for client daemon
   - Fixed bug in cv-stats to list stats for non-nodes / miscellaneous
   devices
   - Added improved debugging tools for client daemon

   - Bug fixes for the IPMI/BMC tool integration and stat plugins
   - Bug fix for clearing alert regarding upgrading stat databases
   - Patched cv-stats for querying non-node devices
   - Restored arguments for cv-stats to their historical defaults (now just
   includes raw sub-command)
   - Stateless images now chunked to handle various EFI/BIOS
   implementations on Asus machines
   - Fixed edge case bug in cv-external-statsd when cv-serverd is down on
   start
   - Added support for user-defined templates for email alerts
   - Fixed inconsistency with boolean values in stats queries
   - Set firewall field to be disabled by default to prevent undesired
   behavior from clients
   - Fixed edge case bug in cloner network boot image
   - Fixed bugs in 0.x to 1.x migration given changes in August release
   - Fixed edge case bug to allow missing devices to still write critical
   stats from clients
   - Added more debugging tooling to cv-clientd
   - Fixed edge case bug for munge processing nulls
   - Added /etc/cron.daily/restart-slurmrestd to mitigate against memory
   leak in the daemon
   - Fixed edge case bug in Slurm global external stat plugin
   - Fixed bug for LVM usage in Cloner
   - Added support for ssh and http console support in web interface (beta)
   - Fixed edge case bug in cv-clientd when cv-serverd is down
   - Fixed support for bootstrapping from distro images using cv-packaged
   - Added ZFS stat plugins
   - Added Script Widget for dashboard in web interface
   - Fixed bug for normalized IPMI stat plugins for inlet and exit stats
